Check out last years Cancer Run!!!!
Spike's Poker Run
In Support of my daughter
Jessica Freeman.
Poker
Run, Raffle drawings, and Auction
that took place on April 16th, 2005.
All proceeds will be donated in my Daughters name, Jessica
Freeman, to The Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.
Jessica was diagnosed with Breast Cancer in June, 2004
and has had a mastectomy and is undergoing Chemotherapy at this
time. She has insurance to help pay for her treatments, but wanted
to do something to help find a cure for this awful disease so she
has registered to walk in the 3 day/60 mile walk that takes
place June 17th-19th 2005 in KC. She has pledged to raise
$5,000.00 and will be selling pink ribbon car magnets, and taking
donations on her web page.
I decided to have this run to help her reach her goal.
Live Music "Crisis"
and Fun. Also appearing: Arsenal,
Featuring The General, Wes Jeffries.
I counted on all who knew me or Jessica, or had
heard of me from past runs, or visitors to this website to
attend this run, and you all came through for me!! I wanted it to be
the biggest run any of us could have imagined, and it was!!
Wow !!!! What a turnout!!! I want to thank all who came out and
supported this cause!! You were all great!! Things went pretty
smoothly for this size of an event!! We had a safe ride with no
problems!! Again, Thank you all So Much!!!

right side, Jessica is listed as the 2nd highest individual fund
raiser so far!!!! Yea!!!!!!!
If this doesn't go thru to her page: you will have to search for:
Jessica Freeman, Spring Hill, KS. in the
participants. You can follow her progress of money raised there.
For info about Jessica or this run
contact Spike @ Trikegal@aol.com
I
am so proud of Jessica for wanting to participate in this walk.
She has been a real trooper through this ordeal, and she
still has a long way to go before she can say she "beat
it".
I wish I had her strength and courage.
I think all of us have been touched by cancer
in one way or another, and we should all be ready to support this
foundation in an effort to find a cure.
