Cassoday,KS Breakfast Run
If you have not ridden to Cassoday, Kansas on the first
Sunday of every month, you better not call yourself a motorcycle
enthusiast. This is a must go to event. On a nice day I have seen
700 to 1,000 bikes there! People come from all over Kansas, up
from Oklahoma, and down from Nebraska.
Info:This is a breakfast ride so you must get there early. People
start arriving about 8:00 and are mostly gone by 12:00. A good
time to arrive is about 9:00.
Cassoday
Cafe Breakfast Buffet - The Cassoday Cafe has become a well-known
gathering place for the motorcycling community. On the first
Sunday of every month, motorcycles of any and all brands (and
their riders) gather in Cassoday.
The Cafe prepares a buffet breakfast March through November, and
tents are put up on the main street for folks to visit and enjoy
the food which continues on through lunch.
Address: Main Street
Ph: 620-735-4432
Cassoday is located 35 miles south of Emporia on I-35
Note: starting at emporia I-35 is toll (cost $1.50 a
bike). This is a must go to event. If looking for someone to
ride with there is a group that leaves at 7:00 A.M. from the
McDonalds at exit 215 off I-35 by the Olathe Mall. This is
in the flint hills and there are several good roads, and riding to

American Salute Rally
Cripple Creek, CO
The Salute to American Veterans Rally and Festival held every
August in Colorado is a one of a kind event honoring all Veterans,
Prisoners of War and those Missing in Action. All those brave souls
who gave up their freedom so that we may enjoy ours are saluted with
this rally.
A military parade is the highlight of the event with marching
bands, parade floats, and bagpipers. Colorado's largest procession of
motorcycles rides into town on their final leg of the Annual POW/MIA
Recognition Ride bringing up the rear of the parade. This thundering
entrance is finished with a ceremony that moves even the hardest of
souls. |
