Spike's Benefit Run for Wayne & Barb

The weather held out for us on Nov. 25, 2006 so we could
get in this run for Wayne & Barb.
Excitement was felt by all when we realized that Wayne himself was
there!!!
They got him out of the hospital on a pass so he could
attend.
There were a lot of their friends in attendance to show their support
and a lot of my friends,
whom like myself didn't even know Wayne & Barb but wanted to do
something to help them.
Barb is still in the hospital and couldn't attend, but I hope to meet
her someday.
If she is anything like Wayne and the kids, I'd say she's a great
individual as well.
Jill got a little teary eyed when she stood up to the mike to thank
everyone for their support.
She and her brother have been right there for their Mom & Dad and
helping all they can.
I met a lot of new people on this run and hope to see them out there
on the road again soon.
Thanks to all of you who came and supported this very important

P.S. Sorry I didn't get more pictures, but since I was actually
running this one, I didn't have time.
